Are you actually affiliated with AC Milan of Italy?

Yes. Our Camps have a direct affiliation with the Serie A Club, through our contractual agreement with The Soccer Academy for Champions based in Toronto. We provide qualified Canadian instructors to the initiative and AC Milan of Italy provides their own Youth Sector instructor(s) to front and implement the AC Milan training philosophy on Canadian soil.

Will my son or daughter have any opportunity

to tryout with AC Milan?

First of all, AC Milan Jr Camps of Canada CANNOT GUARANTEE that your child will be chosen to play or tryout for AC Milan of Italy. What we do guarantee is high-quality “authentic AC Milan” soccer training and possibly an opportunity for outstanding players to be invited  to compete in an annual international tournament in Milan, Italy which is used for scouting by AC Milan the Italian First Division Club.

And what will be the costs associated with such

a trip?

If your child is an outstanding soccer player and is selected by our “AC Milan” Technical Director to attend a tryout, the Italian Club will pay for accommodations and training—flight not included. Invitation and Cost may differ for Milan Junior Camp Day, Milan Tournaments, and other AC Milan or Soccer Academy for Champions events.

What’s the difference between AC Milan

training techniques and Club level soccer?

The AC Milan camp training system was introduced to Canada a few years back as an alternative to recreational- and rep-level Club soccer. The Club system uses primarily volunteers as instructors and the focus is mainly on team results rather than the individual players’ growth. In contrast, AC Milan players, regardless of their chronological and developmental age, are instructed by qualified Canadian and International coaches and the focus is primarily player-centered rather than team-centered, so that your child’s development is placed ahead of a games final score. Ultimately, AC Milan programs seek to develop long-term athletes—competing at the highest levels, such as professional and intercollegiate athletics.
