He grew up in his born town football team and in 1981 he was acquired by Fiorentina. He soon reveals to be a very talented forward: he is quick and has ha good technique. He was soon called to join the National Team and he had the great honour to participate in the lucky World Championship 1982 with Enzo Bearzot. Daniele then joined AC Milan in 1986 and he became one of the most representative players of the Club: all the rossoneri fans will never forget his two goals scored in the final against Barcelona when AC Milan won its fifth European Champion Club’s Cup. Massaro had a nine years long career in the Club and he won several cups: 4 League Titles, 2 European Champion Club’s Cups, 2 League Supercups, 1 European/South American Cup, 3 European Supercups. He ended his career in Japan playing with Shimizu-S-Pulse.
